Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the TriPerformance app and website (together, the "Service"), operated by TriPerformance ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, or by a parent/guardian consenting on an athlete's behalf, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Who can use this
TriPerformance accounts are created by a coach for a specific athlete; there is no public sign-up. If the athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to our Parental Consent page before an account is created, and remains responsible for the athlete's use of the Service.
Accounts
- Keep your login credentials private and secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to an account.
- Provide accurate information when setting up a plan, so the coach can build an appropriate program.
- Accounts are personal to the named athlete and shouldn't be shared or transferred.
Acceptable use
When using TriPerformance, you agree not to:
- Upload photos that don't genuinely relate to the activity being logged, or that depict anyone other than the athlete without their consent
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or age
- Attempt to access another athlete's account or data
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the security of the Service
- Use the Service for anything unlawful or outside its intended purpose as a youth athlete training and accountability tool
Coach review & AI verification
Proof photos submitted through the app are reviewed by the athlete's coach, who makes the final decision on whether an activity is verified. Some accounts may also use an automated first-pass AI review to speed up simple decisions. This is a tool to assist the coach, not a replacement for their judgment, and the coach can override any automated decision at any time.
Photos & content
You (or, for a minor, their parent/guardian) retain ownership of any photo or content submitted through the app. By submitting it, you grant TriPerformance a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service, for example to display it to the athlete and coach, and to run first-pass AI verification if enabled. We don't use submitted photos for marketing or any purpose beyond running the Service, and proof photos are automatically deleted after 2 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
Payment
TriPerformance does not currently process payments directly through the app. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and payment terms will be presented separately before you're charged, and this section will be updated to reflect them.
Not medical, dietary, or professional advice
Training schedules, macro/nutrition targets, and goals provided through TriPerformance are general guidance from a coach, not medical, dietary, or other professional advice. Always consult a qualified doctor, dietitian, or other professional before making significant changes to diet, training load, or health routines, especially for a minor athlete. We are not liable for outcomes related to following the plan without appropriate professional guidance.
Termination
A coach or TriPerformance may suspend or terminate an account at any time, including for a violation of these Terms, at the request of a parent/guardian, or if the coaching relationship ends. A parent/guardian may also request account closure at any time by contacting us.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TriPerformance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
